Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Puddle Jumper made of?
Puddle Jumpers are made from high visibility yellow, non-skid, poly propylene.
How big is a Puddle Jumper compared to a pallet?
A Puddle Jumper is slightly bigger than two pallets end to end. It’s also lighter weight and will not soak up water like pallets do.
Can Puddle Jumpers be attached together to go longer distances?
Yes! You can attach as many platforms as you like, and sequence using heavy-duty connectors, sold separately.
Are puddle jumpers reusable?
Are puddle jumpers reusable?
Yes! Unlike wooden pallets that begin deteriorating immediately after use, potentially grow mold when wet, and increase significantly in weight, Puddle Jumpers are durable, lightweight, rugged, and can be used over and over and over.
How big is a Puddle Jumper?
Puddle jumpers are approximately 3 feet wide by 8 feet long, fully opened. The length of the platform is 4 feet, the length of the ramps are 2 feet each. The height is 2 inches without feet, and approximately 6 inches if the optional feet are attached.
How does using the puddle jumper save me money?
While initially more expensive than a pallet, puddle jumpers are made from tough, poly propylene, that will stand up to rugged, intermittent use for years. The ability to injection mold poly propylene, under tons of pressure to create each puddle jumper allows them to me nearly half the weight of wet plywood and pallets. In addition, add the cost savings from fewer workplace injuries from lifting the heavy wet pallets, and reduce the slip and falls.
